Philippe Halsman: "Photography is a joint creation between the photographer and the person he photographs."
1. Main desire
Find inspiration in the photos you love. Save them and share them with me—I’ll help you choose the concept and style for your shoot
2. Image
Take everything you like out of your wardrobe and spend a couple of hours in front of the mirror mixing and matching outfits. Don’t hesitate to show me your options — together we’ll pick the ones that will look amazing on camera. Explore your best angles, experiment with poses, and approach the process creatively. A little relaxing drink won’t hurt either. Remember: getting ready should be fun and enjoyable — fully immerse yourself in the mood.
Pay close attention to your makeup for the shoot. To look your best, it’s worth using the services of a professional makeup artist.
3. Listen to your body!
A photoshoot can be tiring, especially if it’s long or you’re not used to this kind of session. A good night’s sleep, a massage, or another way to relax the day before will help you prepare.
Avoid alcohol, tanning beds, salty foods, and anything that might cause swelling. Any changes to your appearance are better left for another time — no one needs unexpected results.
If you plan to paint your legs, choose either a color that matches your outfit and overall look or a neutral shade.
